Undone

Snow fell all night on the river's elbow. Nude trees clad only in white cotton waited as he waded through the steaming river focused on the far shore.

He rolled in the snow to dry himself. He no long felt his hands or feet.

He slept under the white blanket before sun rose at dawn, his purpose and goals left to others.
